PEAWWANUK – WEBEQUIE – Parts of Northern Ontario will receive snow this evening and into Tuesday.

Special weather statement in effect for:

  • Webequie
  • Peawanuck

Significant snow with local blowing snow tonight into Tuesday.

Environment Canada says that snow at times heavy is expected tonight. Snowfall amounts in the 10 to 15 cm range are forecast for eastern portions of the region tonight then for northeastern portions Tuesday. A snowfall warning may be required. In addition, visibilities will be reduced in snow and blowing snow as northwesterly winds gusting up to 50 km/h.
