WASHINGTON – American President Donald J. Trump has confirmed something he tweeted 12 hours ago. The President confirmed Sunday morning that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed in a US military raid in northwest Syria.

“Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead,” the President said at the White House.
The President states that a US special operations forces mission went after the ISIS leader in Syria and that there was no American military personnel killed as a result of the action.
