Ontario New Democrats Wrap Up Northern Caucus Meeting in Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY – POLITICS – The Ontario New Democrats wrapped up their Northern Caucus Meeting in Thunder Bay on Thursday. The day included a Leader’s Luncheon with Andrea Horwath that brought about 150 local community leaders together.

The closing press scrum with the Ontario NDP leader brought questions on The Ring of Fire, guns and gangs funding, hallway medicine and healthcare, and Bombardier.

Horwath stated repeatedly that the Ontario Progressive Conservative government is taking Ontario in the wrong way. Following the caucus meeting, Horwath has announced some new critic roles in her team as they await a return to Queen’s Park which will come following October’s federal election.
