Dryden – Vehicle Rollover on Duke Street Overpass

DRYDEN – An early morning accident in Dryden has left a vehicle damaged. Dryden Police report that “At approximately 7:00 am CDT this morning, Dryden Police Service responded to a motor vehicle rollover on the Duke Street Overpass. The driver, who recently exited the nearby car wash, headed east on Duke Street proceeding onto the Duke Street Overpass.

As the vehicle travelled toward Highway 17, the windows began to fog up. The driver attempted to pull over to the right, but due to low visibility, struck the guard rail, rolled over and ended up resting on the driver’s side.

The driver exited the vehicle and reported no injuries. An independent witness confirmed that the driver was not driving recklessly.

No charges were laid as a result of this incident.

The motoring public is reminded to ensure adequate visibility prior to operating a vehicle.
