Snowfall Warning in Effect for City of Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – Environment Canada says that 15 to 25 cm of snow is expected in Thunder Bay. The weather service has upgraded the Special Weather Statement issued earlier today to a Snowfall Warning.

Snowfall warning in effect for:

  • City of Thunder Bay

A long period of snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

Snow is expected to develop tonight over Thunder Bay and begin Thursday morning over Marathon.

This snow will continue throughout the day on Thursday with winds increasing in the afternoon resulting in local blowing snow and poor driving conditions.

Total amounts of 15 to 25 cm can be expected by midnight Thursday.
