THUNDER BAY – Crime – The suspicious death investigation has shifted to a homicide investigation. Thunder Bay Police have identified 31-year-old Amelia Corrie Sainnawap as the person found deceased on August 22, 2018, in the 100 block of Cumming Street.

Her family has been notified of her death. The Thunder Bay Police Service is investigating this incident as a homicide.

Police state that they will have an enhanced high presence in the area as the investigation is active and ongoing.

The scene will remain secured by police until further notice.

A photo of Amelia, also known as Corrie, is being released by investigators.
