THUNDER BAY – ENTERTAINMENT – The City of Thunder Bay is pleased to host its headliner – multiple award-winning artist Classified – at the season’s first Live on the Waterfront on Friday, June 29, presented by Ontario Power Generation.

This free special presentation of Live on the Waterfront also highlights the launch of the City’s new stage: the Ontario Power Generation Community Stage. Audiences will experience high-quality production throughout the season with the all-new stage, sound, and lights.

“We wanted to start the summer events season off with a bang and really show the potential of our new infrastructure,” said Ash Young, Cultural Development & Events Supervisor. “We have created an extremely diverse and high-quality line-up of talent for the summer, and this show will give everyone a taste of what’s to come.”

June 29 marks an important day for Classified, who will be releasing his new album – “Tomorrow could be…” Classified is a Juno-award winning recording artist known for his nationwide hit songs including Inner Ninja, Oh Canada, and recent release Powerless. Fans may purchase new Classified merchandise on site.

“Excited to get back to Thunder Bay for a show, it’s been a few years,” said Classified. “Actually, it’s been almost a year since I did a full show. The boys are back together and we’re excited to be back on stage to help Thunder Bay celebrate the launch of the City’s new stage.”
