TBPS Make Arrest in Red River Road Mac’s Robbery and Assault

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – At approximately 3:00 pm on May 23, 2018 members of the Thunder Bay Police Services Criminal Investigations Branch along with the assistance of the Community Response Team arrested 20-year-old Liam Hardy of Thunder Bay in relation to the robbery that occurred on Wednesday morning at the Mac’s Convenience Store located on Red River Road.

Hardy has been charged with the following offences:
· Attempted Murder
· Robbery
· Kidnapping
· Forcible Confinement
· Uttering Threats

Hardy appeared in court this morning and has been remanded into custody with a court date of May 28, 2018.

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation.
