KENORA – THE Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are looking to the public to assist in an investigation of a motor vehicle collision.

On Saturday, March 24, 2018, shortly before 2:00 am, police were called to investigate a report that a male had been injured after being struck by a vehicle in Keewatin. It was determined that the male had been walking on Front Street in the area of the Keewatin Memorial Arena around 1:00 am. At some point, the male reports a sports utility vehicle (SUV) drove by him, striking him as it passed by, and continued on. The male was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
