THUNDER BAY – CRIME – A thirty-eight-year-old Thunder Bay man was arrested last night in connection with a robbery of a Macs Store at 708 May Street North.

Uniform Patrol responded to a call regarding a male suspect who had robbed the convenience store just before 9:30 p.m.

No one was injured and the male fled the scene. At approximately 10:30 p.m. a male matching the description of the suspect was observed by uniform officers as he stood outside of a Macs store at 1315 Arthur Street. The male was arrested and charged in connection with the May Street store robbery.

38-year-old Jonathon William FORD has been charged with Robbery and Breach of Probation. He remains in custody for a future court date.

None of the charges have been proven in a court of law.
