Gas Theft Results in Arrest in Kenora

POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE

KENORA – NEWS – On Friday, December 22, 2017, shortly after 11:00 am, members of the Kenora OPP responded to a report of a vehicle suspected in the theft of gasoline in Manitoba.

The vehicle was located at approximately 12:40 pm in the City of Kenora. A vehicle stop was conducted and the owner of the vehicle was placed under arrest. A search of the vehicle and the driver resulted in the location of a small amount of Methamphetamine.

As a result of this investigation 35-year-old Lana CROSSLEY of Kenora has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance-Methamphetamine contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act and Fail to Comply with Recognizance s. 145(3) Criminal Code.

She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
