THUNDER BAY – The rain that has soaked down Thunder Bay and parts of the region overnight is continuing today. So is the Special Weather Statement from Environment Canada.

Special weather statement in effect for:
- City of Thunder Bay
An area of showers and isolated thunderstorms will soak areas near and northwest of Lake Superior, including the Lakehead area and Thunder Bay today.
Total rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm are likely by the time the showers taper off later today.
