Lakehead Thunderwolves Set to Run South of the Border

Thunder Bay, Ont. – SPORTS – The Lakehead University Cross Country team is excited to start their season this upcoming weekend at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis, MN on Saturday morning.
The men’s team has a young squad with a good mix of rookies, returners, a transfer, and even an exchange student making up the line up.
Coach Kips Sigsworth explains, “Tree has graduated and a new chapter begins for our men’s team. They have some potential in this group and we are looking for athletes to step up and compete this weekend.”
On the women’s side, all five rookies will be making their debut as Thunderwolves as they run in their first university race.
