Man Faces Weapons and Uttering Threats Charges

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police Service uniform patrol officers responded to a 911 call regarding a male who was threatening people in a parking lot in the 400 block of Edward Street North at 10:39PM EDT last night.

Police stated that it was reported to them that the man had threatened three teenagers who were in the vicinity and walked into a nearby coffee shop.

The accused was taken into custody inside the store and a knife was seized.

30 year old Benedict John SEGGEWISS of Thunder Bay remains in custody with a future court date.

SEGGEWISS has been charged with Possession of Weapon Dangerous to the Public, Uttering Threats and Breach of Probation.
