Unresponsive Male Found Near Marina Park

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police are on scene at a bridge on North Cumberland Street near Marina Park following the discovery of an unresponsive male who was found near the bridge at about 4:00PM today.

Officers have secured the scene with crime tape which is wrapped around bushes in the area.

At present police have not said much on the discovery of the body. There are detectives on scene and the investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE: The man found by authorities was transported to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. At 10:17PM last night he died as a result of the injuries he suffered in what informed sources tell NetNewsLedger was a severe beating.

His name has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.
