MARKHAM – NEWS – A Canada Wide Warrant has been issued for Laurie Pham. In a media statement from York Region Police, the Homicide Unit are seeking public assistance to locate a second suspect wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for First Degree Murder following a homicide in the City of Markham.

A Canada Wide Warrant has been issued for Laurie Phan who is wanted by Police.

On Friday, February 10, 2017, at approximately 1:05AM EST, York Regional Police responded to a weapons call at a residence on Hillwood Street, which is in the area of McCowan Road and Bur Oak Avenue.

When uniformed officers arrived on the scene they located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was later identified as NOEL WILLIAMS, 27, of the City of Markham. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

On Wednesday, April 19, 2017, investigators charged JASPER ATIENZA, 28, from the Town of Richmond Hill, with First Degree Murder.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a second suspect in this ongoing investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
