Gang Attack at Mac’s on North Edward Street

Crime ReportKNIVES, BASEBALL BAT USED IN CONVENIENCE STORE ROBBERY

THUNDER BAY – Just before 11:00PM EDT on Tuesday night, Thunder Bay Police Service uniformed officers were dispatched to a robbery that just occurred at the Mac’s Mart located on North. Edward Street.

Officers arrived moments later and found the employee unharmed. 5 young males dressed in dark clothing entered the store, 2 carrying knives and one carrying a baseball bat.

They proceeded to smash a cooler with the bat then stole cigarettes before leaving the store on foot.

The investigation is continuing.
