Police Investigate Death of Woman Found in Neebing McIntryre Floodway

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police are investigating the death of a yet to be named woman found deceased in the Neebing McIntrye Floodway on Sunday night.

Police officers responded to a call on Sunday evening after local citizens contacted police.

The citizens had located the deceased woman in the water near the intersection of Redwood Avenue and Ford Street.

The TBPS Criminal Investigations Branch secured the scene and police are now awaiting the results of the post-mortem examination.

The Thunder Bay Police investigation is ongoing. Police are asking anyone with any information about the possible identity or information about seeing anyone in this area over the weekend is asked to call them at 684-1200.
