THUNDER BAY – POLICE – The Thunder Bay Police Service have launched an official Snapchat account (TBPolice) on Monday, May 1, 2017.
The Thunder Bay Police Service has a strong following on Facebook and is active on Twitter and Instagram. The service hopes by having a presence on Snapchat, it can better reach a younger demographic that may not be as active on other social media platforms.
The TBPolice Snapchat account will focus on delivering content that’s more appropriate for younger social media users. The goal is to reinforce some of the safety messages already being brought to the schools by the school resource officers. Snapchat allows us to package those messages for a platform students are comfortable with.
