TORONTO, Ont. – A quick start sent the host Don Mills Flyers on their way as they defeated the Thunder Bay Kings 10-1 Wednesday afternoon at the all-Ontario peewee championship in Toronto.

The Flyers took off with five first period goals and never looked back en route to the triumph.

Don Mills added three more in the second stanza and two in the final frame before Jack Pineau notched the lone Kings’ tally midway through the third to round out the scoring.

A well-balanced offensive corps saw Nicholas Yearwood lead the way with two goals and two assists while four other skaters had three-point games for the Flyers.

Thunder Bay wraps up competition at the all-Ontario provincials Thursday at 11:30 a.m. against the Eastern Ontario Wild.
