Thunder Bay North Stars Make-Up Game Set

THUNDER BAY – THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Sunday the make-up date for the contest between the Thunder Bay North Stars and Dryden GM Ice Dogs that was postponed last night due to weather and travel conditions.

This game will now be played on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. CT at Memorial Arena in Dryden.

League action resumes Tuesday at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief River Falls, Minn., as Day 1 of the SIJHL Showcase gets underway featuring three games on the slate.

The Showcase begins with the Fort Frances Lakers taking on the Minnesota Iron Rangers at 1 p.m. CT while the GM Ice Dogs meet the North Stars at 4:15 p.m. CT before the day concludes with the Thief River Falls Norskies facing off with English River at 7:30 p.m. CT.

Three more SIJHL Showcase match-ups will also be on the docket Wednesday.

Thunder Bay takes on English River at 1 p.m. CT, Minnesota tangles Dryden at 4:15 p.m. before wrapping up with a 7:30 p.m. CT contest featuring the Lakers and Norskies.

All SIJHL Showcase games will be streamed live online at HockeyTV.com.
