Hotel Clerk Tips off Cops on Drugs in Room

THUNDER BAY – CRIME BEAT – A hotel employee tipped off police on the contents of a room. That led police to investigate, and then get a search warrant.

As a result, David Martell a twenty-eight-year-old Thunder Bay man is in custody facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.

Martell appeared in Thunder Bay District Court on Wednesday and was been remanded to the District Jail.
