Lakehead Men’s Basketball Worked Hard for Win

Brandon, MB – SPORTS – The Lakehead Men’s Basketball team worked hard and came out with a 84-70 win last night against the Brandon University Bobcats.

“Really proud of our guys and how physical we played”, said Coach Manny following the win.

The ‘Wolves had a great start to the game leading 22-14 after the first quarter but the Bobcats did not let up finishing the half only down two points at 39-37. Lakehead was able to pull away in the 3rd quarter outscoring the Bobcats 23-11.

“We have to now get ready for 2 very good teams against Winnipeg and Manitoba”.

The Thunderwolves will play Winnipeg at 6:00pm CT tonight.
