Attempted Robbery at Dawson Road TD Bank ATM

THUNDER BAY – CRIME BEAT – Thunder Bay Police Service uniformed officers responded to the TD Bank on Dawson Road just after 6:00PM EDT to take a report of an attempted robbery.

Police state that “A fifty-six-year old female victim was using the ATM machine just after 6:00 p.m. when she was approached from the back by a male who demanded money and verbally threatened her. Staff at the bank hear the commotion and approached the ATM vestibule and the accused left the area running in the shopping plaza parking lot. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male approximately 30 year of age. He is approximately 5’5” tall with a thin build. He was wearing sunglasses, a dark coloured ball cap, a black zipper up hoodie with green and white reflective tape on the front and the back.
