Pair of Robberies Have Police Seeking Suspects

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are reporting that a male jumped over a counter at Alley’s Variety at 700 Franklin Street South just after 2:00PM on Monday. The male threatened staff members and made off with cigarettes. No one was injured.

Suspect Description:

Caucasian male – 5’9” tall
Shaved head
Wearing 2 dark bandanas with a white pattern, sunglasses, black long sleeve shirt, black shorts & black shoes

Police also are reporting on a robbery on the Northside of Thunder Bay.

TBPS report that a male entered Comix Plus store at 186 Algoma Street South just after 3:30PM.  The male was armed with a knife and appears to have taken clothing from the store.  No one was injured.  The suspect was last seen fleeing southbound on Algoma Street on a mountain bike.

Suspect Description:

  • Native Canadian male – 5’9” tall
  • Approximately 30 years old
  • Slim build – approximately 140 lbs
  • Wearing a white long sleeve shirt, dark coloured skater shorts
  • “Buzz cut” hair & sunglasses
