Severe thunderstorm watch in effect for:
- Dryden – Vermilion Bay
- Sioux Narrows – Nestor Falls
- Ignace – English River
- Kenora – Grassy Narrows – Whitedog
Persons in or near this area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions.
Much of Northwestern Ontario is under either Heat Warnings or Thunderstorm watches.
Further west, Winnipeg and to the Ontario Manitoba boundary there are Severe Thunderstorm Warnings in effect.
