Speedy Arrests in North May Street Mac’s Robbery

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police have made four arrests in the attempted robbery of the Mac’s Store on North May Street. TPBS officers were dispatched to the Mac’s location just after 10:00PM EST on Thursday following a call to 911.

Upon arrival, the Mac’s staff relayed to police officers that four males had coming into the store, and that they were armed with knives.

The four suspects were reportedly taking food, cigarettes and money before fleeing on foot.

Officers were able to quickly apprehend the four suspects based on the descriptions given to them by the store clerks.

Police report that the four suspect have been charged with robbery and the possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.

The employees of the Mac’s were no physically injured during the incident.

The four suspects will appear in the Thunder Bay District Court later today.
