Thunder Bay Queens Hit the Road to Blaine for Centennial Super Chill

THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – The Thunder Bay Queens will have two of their teams heading to Blaine, Minn., this weekend to compete in the Centennial Super Chill tournament at the Schwan Super Rinks.

Both the Tim Hortons bantam A and the peewee Queens will take part in the event that concludes Sunday with the respective division finals.

Game action for the bantam A side begins Friday at 8:35 p.m. as they take on the Mahtomedi Zephyrs.

Two more tilts are on the club’s slate Saturday starting with a 10 a.m. encounter with the North Wright County Riverhawks before wrapping up the day at 4:40 p.m. as they face-off against the host Centennial Cougars.

Meanwhile the peewee Queens will commence play Friday as well when they take on the Minneapolis Storm at 9:20 p.m.

That will be followed up by a 1:40 p.m. contest Saturday vs. Centennial before concluding the day with a 6:10 p.m. start against the Burnsville Blaze.
