THUNDER BAY – Last night just around 21:20PM EDT a pedestrian was hit near City Hall. This is the fifth person hit by a motor vehicle in recent days.

Four units from the Thunder Bay Police along with Superior EMS responded to the call. The condition of the pedestrian is not known at this time.

It is getting darker early and it appears perhaps some drivers are not paying sufficient attention, or are in a rush to get to their destination.

Police Officers are continuing to encourage witnesses of the fatal hit and run collision that occurred on Saturday morning at the intersection of Court St and Wilson St. to contact them. Any witnesses to this collision are requested to contact Constable Carlson at 632-1820 or Constable Snyder at 629-9101.
