THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police had a busy twenty-four hours. Calls included an incident on Picton Avenus at 01:42AM EDT which brought out five units of the Thunder Bay Police Service. Police arrived on the scene in the 100 block of Picton Avenue to find a home where the windows on the door and front windows were smashed.

Officers also found a large knife on the front steps. Witnesses reported that the incident had a male suspect, who police took into custody smashed the windows and attempted to flee.

Thunder Bay Police are still on the hunt for a suspect in a robbery of the Shell Station on Red River Road that happened on Friday in the early morning hours.

TPBS state, “An attempted robbery occurred at the Shell Station at 888 Red River Road shortly before 1:00AM. A male armed with a knife entered the store and demanded money. The male fled on foot without getting anything. The investigation is continuing”.

The suspect is described as a 6 foot tall thin light skinned male wearing a red hoody, a green mask and green pants.
