Westfort Drug Raid Results in Trafficking and Weapons Charges

THUNDER BAY – CRIME BEAT – The Thunder Bay Police have a twenty-seven-year-old man in custody following a drug bust that happened on Thursday evening in Westfort. Thunder Bay Police say they went to a residence in the 1900 block of West Frederica Street, and seized a small amount of money, along with:

69 oxycodone pills
68 grams of cocaine
26 grams of marijuana
15 grams of magic mushrooms
64 grams of bath salts

Police said the estimated street value of the drugs is $15,670.00

Police report further that an imitation handgun, and several prohibited devices including three expandable batons, and a credit card knife were taken by officers as a result of the drug raid.

The suspect now faces weapons charges, in addition to trafficking and possession charges.
