Thunder Bay Police Investigate Robbery from Youth

Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on Sunday, June 28th at 4:30PM EDT. Police state that two twelve-year-old boys were walking in the area of Brown Street and Brock Street when they were approached by a male who wanted to checkout a bike that they had with them. The male then stated he was going to take the bike and as he attempted to leave it, one of the youth tried to physical take it back.

Police report, “At this point a second male approached from a laneway nearby and threatened the boys with a knife. The two suspects were last seen running away with the bike towards St Martin’s School. The youth were not injured in this incident.”

This unique bike is described as being a custom BMX style bike with a black frame, blue BMX grips on the handle bars, blue harrow rims and a distinctive yellow chain.

The suspects are described as Caucasian males approximately 18 years of age with thin builds. One male was wearing jeans and the second male was wearing jeans, a dark blue shirt and had a back pack.
