THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – The forecast for Thunder Bay is calling for rain tapering off. Environment Canada says, “Showers ending this morning then cloudy with 40 percent chance of showers. Wind becoming northwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 this morning. High 14. UV index 4 or moderate.”

For tonight, we should see clearing skies early this evening, with a low of plus 2.

Further north, Freezing Rain is in the forecast for Fort Severn and Peawanuk.

Freezing rain warning in effect for:

  • Fort Severn / Washaho Cree Nation
  • Peawanuck

Freezing rain continues in Ontario’s far north. The freezing rain may be mixed with ice pellets and snow at times until it tapers off to flurries or freezing drizzle later this morning.
