Thunder Bay Police Seek Mac’s Robbery Suspect

THUNDER BAY – CRIME BEAT – Thunder Bay Police are asking for the public to assist in identifying a male responsible for a robbery that occurred on April 19, 2015 at the Mac’s Convenience Store located on Waterloo Street.

Just before 1:00AM the fifty-four-year old male employee who was outside the store was approached by a male with a knife and lead into the store where the suspect demanded cash and cigarettes.

The employee complied with the demands and was able to run in to the bathroom and lock himself in for his own protection. The suspect immediately fled the location on foot.

The suspect is described as a Native Canadian male approximately 5’3″ tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black and white checked hoodie with a light coloured hood, dark pant and no shoes.
