Crime Report Thunder BayTHUNDER BAY – CRIMEBEAT – Fast work by Thunder Bay Police resulted in the arrest of an armed robbery suspect. Thunder Bay Police report that “Just after 10:30PM a male armed with a knife entered the Mac’s on Syndicate Ave and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. The employee was not injured and quickly called Police”.

Officers attended in the area and observed the suspect running away from scene. A foot chase ensued and officers arrested the male after following him into a residence on Cameron Street.

A twenty-two-year old local man has been charged with robbery, breach of probation and resisting arrest.

The accused is scheduled to attend court later today. No names can be released until after the information is sworn to in court at the first court appearance.
