Christmas Winter Storm Still Growing

Winter is not over yet.

THUNDER BAY – Depending on the weather model you choose, the European or the American, the threatened winter storm will take tracks that are hundreds of kilometres apart.

If the European model is right, Thunder Bay and Lake Superior will be hit solidly with the projected storm.

In the other model, the storm will likely past east of Thunder Bay.

Last night, and earlier this morning, there were freezing drizzle warnings out for the eastern part of Northwestern Ontario. As of 12:00EST there are no warnings for the region.

The weather forecast is likely to continue to evolve over the next twenty-four hours, as it sits right now, the bulk of the forecasted snow for our region will be on Tuesday or Wednesday.
