Thunder Bay Police have several incidents under investigation from the weekend.
Thunder Bay Police laid second degree murder charges against a sixth suspect

THUNDER BAY – CRIME – There is a sixth arrest in the Field Street homicide. Thunder Bay Police Service have announced that twenty-five year old Christopher David Meeseetawageesic was arrested.

The suspect has been charged with second degree murder, and breach of probation.

He was taken into custody in the McVicar Creek area near Court Street on Thursday, July 31 2014.

Thunder Bay Police announced today that they arrested 25-year-old Christopher David Meeseetawageesic in the McVicar Creek area near Court Street yesterday.

He’s charged with second-degree murder and breach of probation.

There have been five others charged in the death of forty-four-year-old Lloyd Oskineegish from Wunnumin Lake First Nation.

Meeseetawageesic will appear in court on August 22nd.
