THUNDER BAY – Mark your calendar for Festival of India. The festival will be on July 15th, Tuesday at Marina Park in Thunder Bay. The event is in its fifth year, and keeps getting better and bigger all the time. The first year 1,500 people attended. Last year, over 5,000 people came to the event that starts at 4PM and goes until 9PM.
Festival of India is likely, on a per capita basis, the most popular festival of its kind in Thunder Bay. It is also the only festival celebrating the culture, food, and style of India from Toronto to Calgary.
This is an unique opportunity for people of Thunder Bay to enjoy classic cultural dances, drama, music, exhibits, arts and an authentic east Indian Free Vegetarian Feast.
International artists from USA, India and Canada contribute to the cultural festival of Thunder Bay by sharing their love for Indian dance, music, drama and food. They present an evening of exotic entertainment followed by delicious vegetarian refreshments at Marina Park.
