Event Centre Decision Rests with Council

THUNDER BAY – Both sides of the issue of a vote on the proposed Event Centre in Thunder Bay were on the steps of City Hall tonight. “This is democracy at its best,” stated one proponent of a plebiscite. “We can each have our sides of the issue.”

Voices from City Hall

Tonight, Council will hear deputations from both sides of the issue, however many people feel that the vote is a foregone conclusion with Council set to move forward on the issue.
