Radio Waves Take Thunder Bay Health News North

THUNDER BAY – Health News – The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre takes to the airwaves to share health news to the North.

Each month, Dr. Shannon Wesley, Regional Aboriginal Lead with Regional Cancer Care Northwest, hosts a one hour radio show on Wawatay Radio that focuses on cancer prevention and screening.

This month, Dr. Wesley (left) hosted her show on tobacco and quitting smoking with Jeannie Simon (middle), Aboriginal Patient Navigator, who translated the show in Ojibwe and Jeff Werner(right), Tobacco Wise Lead for Northwestern Ontario
