RED ROCK – The Red Rock Fish and Game Club is looking forward to the 17th Annual Trout Derby June 1 and 2nd. The ice is just leaving the Nipigon Bay and the Trout are going to active the weekend of the Derby.  The Derby offers great early registration prizes if boats register prior to May 21. The Early Registration Prize is drawn Friday night of the derby weekend at the Red Rock Fish and Game Club House.

The pre-derby meeting will be held at 7:30 am on Saturday June 1 at the Fish and Game Club House. Fishing times on Saturday June 1 are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Sunday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The registration fee is $50.00 per angler.  The derby offers thousands in cash and prizes over the weekend.  A limit of one Lake Trout may be entered per day.

Boat slips are available at the marina but you need to reserve your space early. Those entered in the derby will have free boat launch and camping for the weekend.

The Marina also offers gas and diesel fuel, propane exchange, shower and washroom facilities in the new Red Rock Marina Centre. The Red Rock Fish and Game Club will be open all weekend so come out and enjoy the festivities.
