THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police Service are investigating a potentially serious incident which occurred during the afternoon on Saturday 27 April 2013.
An unknown person or persons placed fishing line across the walking / bike path located at Boulevard Lake. The fishing lines were placed at random areas and placed between 5-6 feet off the ground. Thunder Bay Police report this act could cause serious injuries or result in death if a person strikes the line.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in remaining vigilant when utilizing the walk/bike paths.
The Thunder Bay Police are requesting any information from the public regarding these incidents.
