Bruce Hyer MPTHUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Superior North has a quiet MP right now. MP Bruce Hyer reports “I’m out of the hospital, and supposed to rest and not talk for a while (cue jokes). Surgery went well and prognosis is “cautiously optimistic.” I’d like to thank so many of you for your thoughts, prayers and well wishes the past week or more. I read many of them in hospital and was truly moved. Thank you!”

Hyer shared with constituents that he is fighting cancer and was in hospital to have a growth removed from his tongue.

“The prognosis is good, and I expect to be back at work soon, although the doctors tell me that my speech may be hindered for a while,” Hyer shared with constituents.
