THUNDER BAY – Sports – The Thunder Bay North Stars are headed into their home opener on Tuesday night coming off a pair of wins over the Minnesota Ice Rangers.

The North Stars’ home opener at the Fort William Gardens against the Sioux Lookout Flyers is Tuesday night. The teams will battle again on Wednesday night. The puck drops at 7:30PM.

North Stars President Doug Gunsinger says the team is off to a great start to the season with the wins over Minnesota. The team now hopes to build on that success over Sioux Lookout who are looking to re-group after the weekend’s SIJHL action.

It was a tough opening weekend for the Flyers. The Flyers allowed 15 goals in two games and only scored two of their own. The team states that “The coaching staff will adjust their game plan for the first two away games in Thunder Bay Tuesday and Wednesday”.

  • Seniors $5.00 (55+)
  • Students $5.00 (13 – 17 or with valid student card)
  • Children $3.00 (3 – 12)
