THUNDER BAY – Readers Ledger – Call for support: Horizon Wind is pressing forward with their attempt to develop the Big Thunder Wind Park.

As well as infringing on our treaty rights, this project if allowed would DESTROY the Loch Lomond Watershed and lands that have deep spiritual and traditional meaning to our people.

We must do everything in our power to prevent this from happening.

In cooperation with citizens of Thunder Bay we will be holding a rally near the Loch Lomond Ski Area On Thursday June 14, 2012 at 5pm.

We need everyone to attend and send a clear message that we will not allow any project to destroy this precious land.
