Weather AlertTHUNDER BAY – Environment Canada has issued a Flash Freeze warning for the City of Thunder Bay. Road and sidewalk conditions in the city are quite slippery, and Thunder Bay road crews have been out with sanders on major streets, but side streets are likely to be slippery.

Equally, it is suggested to be extra careful on outdoor stairways and on your front step as well.

Highways to the west of Thunder Bay are gathering snow and are slippery as well.

Weather conditions have impacted flights into the city on Wasaya Airlines and Bearskin Air. It is a good idea to check Arrivals and Departures at the Thunder Bay Airport if you have a flight going out, or arriving tonight.

If you are headed out on the highways, check road conditions first.
