Stabbing Altercation on Ambrose Street Sends Man to Hospital

crimebeatTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – Thunder Bay Police report that there was a stabbing yesterday evening. A local man was taken to hospital with knife wounds following an altercation that happened just after 7PM. Police responded to the altercation which was occurring outside an Ambrose Street residence. The altercation involved a number of people. It was reported that a female had a knife.

During this incident a 55 year old male was sliced by the knife several times. The male was taken to the hospital for medical attention and has since been released. The victim and accused were known to each other.

A 30 year old female is in custody for Assault with a Weapon and is awaiting a court appearance later today.
