Lakehead Thunderwolves women’s volleyball team off to Toronto


THUNDER BAY – Sports – The Lakehead Thunderwolves women’s volleyball team will commence their regular season on the road in Toronto this weekend to take on the U of T Varsity Blues for a pair of games, Friday at 6 pm and Saturday at 5 pm.

Coach Chris Green has been pushing his players hard in practice all week in anticipation of getting the regular season off to a good start versus U of T. The Varsity Blues are 7-6 in pre-season play, and got the better of the Thunderwolves at the Lea Marc Challenge in Winnipeg a month ago, winning 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-18).
