NSWPB Announces New Executive Director – Madge Richardson

Port of Thunder BayTHUNDER BAY – The North Superior Workforce Planning Board (NSWPB) is the source from information on workforce development issues throughout the region. Today the NSWPB are pleased to announce the appointment of Madge Richardson to the position of Executive Director for the Board. Richardson is a long time volunteer Director with the Board.

Her experience has made her very familiar with the work of NSWPB throughout the community. Her experience both regionally and locally ensures a smooth transition, allowing for the Board to continue leading the way in workforce development initiatives throughout the District of Thunder Bay.

According to Terri McKirdy and Gord Milliard, Co-chairs for the NSWPB, “Madge has the necessary background, knowledge, and skills to continue leading our Board in the right direction.”

Richardson is pleased with her new responsibilities, stating, “This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wonderful group of professionals who share a passion for workforce development to continue forging strong partnerships in helping us reach our mandate of improving the quality of life in our communities through the development of our workforce.”
