Juno Awards Committee Reverses Decision on Shy-Anne

Shy-AnneTHUNDER BAY – It took all of twenty-four hours, but the Juno Awards Committee has reversed their earlier decision to disqualify Shy-Anne’s album Pseudo from competing for the Aboriginal Album of the year.

Perhaps it is another step to “Changing our world”? Shy-Anne shares, “Just got off the phone with the JUNO office, and they have reversed their decision… I’m no longer disqualified.”

The decision means that Pseudo is now in contention to be one of the top five albums in the Aboriginal category for the Juno Awards

The move by the Committee may mean that the Juno Awards generate a better definition of what each category means
